The name Duburu itself is rooted in this belief. Drawn from the Igbo name “Nduburu”, meaning “life is precious”, it reflects how we see fashion and life. Yet, too often, exceptional African brands are lost in the noise, underrepresented, and hard to access. We saw this gap clearly and felt it deeply.
